Terms & Conditions

By booking a taxi with TN Drop Taxi or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation call or WhatsApp message from our team.
  • Submitting the online booking form is a request, not a confirmed booking.
  • We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
  • You must provide accurate pickup location, drop location, travel date, and contact details. Incorrect information may result in delays or cancellation.

2. Fares & Payments

  • All fares shown are estimates based on per-kilometre rates. The final fare is confirmed at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Payment is made after the trip directly to the driver — cash or UPI accepted.
  • We do not collect any advance payment online.
  • Toll charges, state border taxes, parking fees, night allowance, and hill station charges are payable extra as applicable.
  • For round trips, the return fare is calculated separately and confirmed upfront.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 4+ hours before pickup: No charge.
  • Cancellations made 2–4 hours before pickup: ₹300 cancellation fee applicable.
  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before pickup: 25% of the estimated fare is chargeable.
  • No-show: Full estimated fare is chargeable if the driver is already en route.

4. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Be ready at the pickup location at the agreed time. The driver will wait up to 15 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time.
  • You are responsible for the safety of your luggage throughout the journey.
  • A maximum of 4 passengers for a Sedan and 6 for an SUV. Exceeding the vehicle capacity is not permitted.
  • Smoking, alcohol consumption, and consumption of food with strong odours are not permitted in the vehicle.
  • Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused during the trip.

5. Driver Conduct

  • Our drivers will follow the agreed route or the most efficient route as advised by navigation.
  • Drivers will not be asked to exceed speed limits or violate traffic rules.
  • If you are unsatisfied with driver conduct, please report it to us immediately at +91 99627 94922.

6. Delays & Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, accidents, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will make every effort to arrange an alternative vehicle as quickly as possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

TN Drop Taxi acts as a taxi operator connecting passengers with drivers. While we take all reasonable precautions for your safety, our liability in the event of an accident, injury, or loss of property is limited to the extent covered by the vehicle's motor insurance policy.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including missed flights, missed appointments, or business losses) arising from delays or cancellations.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
